## *(So easy you feel wrong not doing it)*

Most habits fail not because you’re lazy.

**But because the habit was designed to lose.**

Let’s fix that—forever.

### The golden rule of habits:

***Behavior follows attraction.***

You don’t rise to your goals.

You fall to what feels good *now*.

**Make the habit feel better than the alternative—and you win.**

### Every habit has 4 stages:

**Cue → Craving → Action → Reward**

If a habit isn’t irresistible,

one of these is broken.

**We’ll optimize all four.**

### Step 1: Make the habit OBVIOUS

If you don’t see it, you won’t do it.

- Put the book on your pillow
- Put the water bottle on your desk
- Put running shoes by the door

**Design beats discipline.**

### Step 2: Make it ATTRACTIVE

Your brain follows pleasure.

Pair the habit with something you love:

- Gym + favorite podcast
- Studying + good coffee
- Cleaning + music you crave

This is called *temptation bundling*.

**It works frighteningly well.**

### Step 3: Make it EASY (this is the secret)

The most powerful habit size is: **2 minutes.**

- 1 push-up
- 1 page
- 1 sentence
- 1 minute

You don’t build habits by intensity.

**You build them by *showing up*.**

Lower the barrier until failure feels silly.

If you can’t do it on your worst day,

**the habit is too big.**

Start embarrassingly small.

Pride comes later.

### Step 4: Make it SATISFYING

**What gets rewarded gets repeated.**

- Check a box
- Mark an X on a calendar
- Track a streak
- Say “I keep promises to myself”

Your brain needs closure.

### The identity shift (this changes everything):

Don’t say:

“I’m trying to work out”

Say:

**“I’m the kind of person who never misses twice.”**

**Every action is a vote for who you are.**

### The “Never Miss Twice” rule

Missing once is life.

Missing twice is a pattern.

You don’t need perfection.

**You need *recovery speed*.**

Bounce back fast. That’s mastery.

### Want a habit to stick forever?

Attach it to something you already do.

- After I brush my teeth → I stretch
- After I open my laptop → I plan 1 task
- After I pour coffee → I read 1 page

Old habit = anchor

New habit = passenger

### Remove friction from good habits.

**Add friction to bad ones.**

- Sleep in workout clothes
- Delete distracting apps
- Log out, hide junk food, unplug the TV

**Environment > willpower. Always.**

### The real reason habits fail:

You expect motivation to save you.

Motivation is a visitor.

**Systems are residents.**

Build systems that work *when motivation disappears*.

### If you remember only one thing, remember this:

***Make the habit so easy, attractive, and rewarding that not doing it feels harder than doing it.***

**That’s how habits become automatic.**

### Start today.

Pick ONE habit.

Shrink it to 2 minutes.

Design the environment.

Track it.

**Small actions. Daily.**

**That’s how lives change.**
