LIFE UPGRADED® is operated by Nino Parrondo, who is the controller responsible for the personal information processed for the purposes described in this policy.

“We,” “us,” and “our” refer to Nino Parrondo operating LIFE UPGRADED®.

Newsletter Subscriptions

THE UPGRADE LETTER™ is delivered through Beehiiv. We use your email address to send the lessons and newsletter communications you request and to manage your subscription. This includes subscriptions made through offers that clearly include both a free guide and the newsletter.

Our current newsletter signup form asks for your email address. Subscriber records may also include names where available, subscription dates and status, joining source, and location information reported by the platform.

Beehiiv provides delivery records, email-open information, and link-click information associated with individual subscriber profiles. These indicators may be affected by automated systems and may not accurately reflect a person’s reading activity or location.

We rely on your consent to send the newsletter communications you request. You can unsubscribe using the link in our emails or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

We do not use these engagement or location records to personalise messages, segment subscribers, or make decisions about individual subscribers.

Community Membership

THE HABIT LAB® is hosted on Skool. As administrator, we can view your profile name, joining date, last activity, membership plan, access permissions, and joining source. We also process posts, comments, and messages you share with us or the community.

We process information necessary to provide your membership, manage access, and respond to membership requests to perform our agreement with you.

Content posted in community spaces may be visible to other members. Skool also processes personal information for its own platform services.

We do not use last-activity or joining-source information to personalise messages or make decisions about individual members.

Contacting Us

When you contact us, we use your contact details and message to respond. We rely on our legitimate interest in handling enquiries, or on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, where applicable.

Website Data and Cookies

Our main website is hosted on Ghost and loads fonts from Bunny Fonts and website components through jsDelivr. Your browser connects to these providers to display the website and enable its features, transmitting technical information such as your IP address and the resources requested.

We use these services to deliver and maintain the website, based on our legitimate interest in providing a functioning and secure service.

Newsletter subscriptions take place on our Beehiiv-hosted website, which also provides website traffic statistics. Newsletter-related information is described in the Newsletter Subscriptions section.

You can use your browser settings to review, block, or delete cookies and manage other stored website data. Restricting storage may affect some website features.

Service Providers

We use Ghost Foundation Ltd for website hosting, beehiiv Inc. for newsletter services, Skool for community membership and its payment facilities, and Gmail for correspondence. Our website also loads fonts from Bunny Fonts and website components through jsDelivr.

Ghost and Beehiiv act as processors where they handle personal information on our behalf under their data processing agreements. Providers may also act independently for their own account administration, security, legal compliance, and other platform activities.

Personal information may be disclosed where necessary to comply with legal obligations.

International Data Transfers

Our service providers may process personal information outside your country, including in the United States. Ghost states that its servers are located in the Netherlands and that some service providers may operate elsewhere.

Beehiiv’s data processing agreement incorporates European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses where legally required. Skool states that it uses appropriate safeguards for international transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable. Google describes its use of adequacy decisions, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and Standard Contractual Clauses in its transfer documentation.

Data Retention

We retain the information needed to manage your newsletter subscription or community membership while it remains active.

After you unsubscribe or your membership ends, we retain only the records necessary to respect your communication preferences, demonstrate consent, meet legal obligations, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We retain correspondence while necessary to resolve your enquiry and any related outstanding matters. Payment and transaction records are retained for the periods required by applicable law.

We review the personal information under our control and delete information that is no longer needed for these purposes. Retention depends on the purpose of the record, any outstanding obligations or disputes, and applicable legal requirements.

Your Privacy Rights

Under applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, restriction of processing, or data portability. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where processing relies on it.

You may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency or another competent supervisory authority.

Paid Memberships and Cancellation

THE HABIT LAB® offers Standard membership at US$9 per month and Premium membership at US$69 per month through Skool.

Subscriptions renew monthly unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of your paid billing period. Cancellation stops the next renewal.

Cancellation does not itself request a refund. For payment or refund enquiries, contact ninoparrondo16@gmail.com. Nothing in these terms limits any refund, withdrawal, or other consumer rights available under applicable law.

The features included in Standard and Premium membership are described on THE HABIT LAB®’s Skool signup page before payment. Please review the description of your selected plan and the applicable checkout conditions before subscribing.

External Services and Website Availability

Third-party services have their own terms and privacy information covering their activities.

We aim to keep our website accurate and available, but information may need updating and access may occasionally be interrupted. Nothing on this page excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful.
